I first joined ALTRGO Limited as an intern, handling the wireframes, layouts, prototypes, and other marketing materials. Completing my 6-month internship, I was put incharge of the app design to propose and make design decisions.

Value Proposition & Uniqueness

  • 1. Personalised Searching

    ALTRGO understands interests and the purpose of a user reach for a product, are the most important elements in e-commerce. This home page allows user to reach their goal and interests easily. The algorithm gives suggestions to users according to the answers about the fields of interest they provide during their account registration at the beginning.

  • 2. Accessibility & Intuitiveness

    Listing and managing experience, as well as joining experience can be complex and tedious. By optimising whatever hosts need when listing their experience and product, hosts need no worry about how to create their websites, study SEO, paying for Facebook and Google Ad promotions. Keeping simplicity in the flow of joining and purchasing products is essential for Travellers to have a better user experience.

  • 3. Community Creation and Sustainability

    Except for meeting up with the community, we also encourage people to share any ideas among different interest groups. We encourage users to send messages, post reviews, recommendations, or any special moments, which we call 'Journey'. So not only Hosts build their Hero Profile, but also Travellers build their traveller profile. We encourage all enthusiastic users to be creative and fearless of becoming a Hero whenever they have new experience ideas!

  • 4. Credential & Validation

    Travellers will be communicating with their hosts in break-out chatrooms individually created for each session or event. At the same time, UGC (User Generated Content) is dominating the success of rating platforms like Openrice by increasing the trust-worthiness of a product and encouraging the host to maintain a good reputation. Travellers’ ratings allow Heroes to build their profile by earning badges that represent a wide range of speciality and quality in the person.
